Weapon fire arcs
Most weapons can be fired in any direction (that is, the unit does not have to be pointing at the target). However, some weapons are noted on unit datasheets as having a limited 'arc of fire' or 'fire arc':
Fixed Forward Arc (FxF).
90° arc to the unit's front only.
Fixed Forward Arc (FxF).
90° arc to the unit's front only.
Rear Arc (RrA).
180° arc of fire to the unit’s rear only.
Left Arc (Left)/Right Arc (Right).
180° arc to the unit’s left side or right side only.
War engines often have multiple weapons with a mixture of these limited arcs of fire. But remember, you may only target a single formation when shooting — so you may not be able to use all your war engine's weapons at the same time.
